Should this status ever change, users will be informed through an update to these Terms or other appropriate notice.

Questions regarding these Terms, the operation of the platform, legal matters, or privacy-related requests may be directed to our designated contact email.
We aim to respond to legitimate inquiries within a reasonable timeframe; however, response times may vary depending on the availability of our volunteer team.

Creators are responsible for ensuring that the content they submit complies with these Terms, including all requirements regarding accuracy, licensing, citations, and the use of artificial intelligence.

4. Eligibility
4.1 Account Requirements
Access to publicly available courses on Atomo Schola does not require an account. To access features that require authentication, including those available to Editors and Creators, users must register an account by providing a valid email address and choosing a secure password. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for all activity occurring under their account.
4.2 Accounts for Minors
Atomo Schola does not impose a minimum age requirement for creating an account. Some educational content may discuss topics intended for educational purposes that certain users, parents, or guardians may consider sensitive, including but not limited to human anatomy, reproductive health, or other age-sensitive subjects. Where appropriate, such content may include a warning before it is displayed. Parents and legal guardians are encouraged to supervise the online activities of younger users.
4.3 Sensitive Educational Content
Atomo Schola is an educational platform and may provide accurate, age-appropriate educational materials covering a wide range of academic subjects. The inclusion of sensitive topics is intended solely for educational purposes and should not be interpreted as promoting, encouraging, or endorsing any particular beliefs, behaviors, or viewpoints. Where reasonably possible, sensitive topics will be accompanied by an appropriate content warning to allow users to make an informed decision before viewing the material.
5. User Accounts
5.1 Registration
To create an account on Atomo Schola, users must provide a valid email address and choose a secure password. Each account is intended for use by a single individual and may not be shared with others.
5.2 Guest Usernames
Users are not required to provide their real name or any public display name when creating an account. If a user does not choose a display name, Atomo Schola will automatically assign a guest username (for example, User1234) for identification purposes within the platform. Usernames must not impersonate another person, organization, member of the Administration Team, or any other role within Atomo Schola.
5.3 Account Security
Users are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their password and for any activity that occurs under their account. If a user believes that their account has been accessed without authorization, they should notify the Administration Team as soon as reasonably possible.
5.4 Account Responsibility
Users must use their accounts in accordance with these Terms and all applicable laws. The Administration Team may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to an account if it is used in violation of these Terms or if continued access would pose a risk to the platform, its users, or its educational mission.
5.5 Account Deletion
Users may not delete their own accounts through the platform. If an account becomes inactive, is suspended, or is otherwise no longer used, any courses, edits, or other contributions associated with that account may remain on Atomo Schola to preserve the integrity, continuity, and attribution of educational content. The Administration Team reserves the right to retain account information as necessary for the continued operation of the platform and in accordance with applicable laws and our Privacy Policy.
6. User Roles & Permissions
6.1 Users
Users may access and view publicly available educational content as well as use the tools and facilities on Atomo Schola. Users may not create, publish, or edit courses unless they have been granted the appropriate permissions by the Administration Team or the Councils of Creators and Editors.

- Maintain factual accuracy.
- Preserve the educational purpose of the course.
- Help correct formatting, grammar, and organizational issues where appropriate.
- Respect the original intent of the course while helping improve its quality.

- Are educational in nature.
- Contain accurate information to the best of their knowledge.
- Include appropriate citations and sources where required.
- Use only properly licensed or authorized materials.
- Comply with the AI Content Policy and all other provisions of these Terms.
6.4 Promotion Process
Promotion to the role of Editor or Creator is granted solely at the discretion of the Administration Team or the Councils of Creators and Editors. There is no automatic right to receive or retain either role. Eligibility may be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, knowledge, contributions, trustworthiness, and the needs of the platform.
6.5 Demotion or Removal of Roles
The Administration Team may suspend, revoke, or modify an individual's Editor or Creator permissions at any time. Such decisions may be made for reasons including, but not limited to:
- Violations of these Terms.
- Repeated publication of inaccurate or misleading information.
- Failure to maintain expected educational standards.
- Copyright or licensing violations.
- Conduct that negatively affects the platform or its community.
Removal of an Editor or Creator role does not automatically terminate the individual's user account unless separate moderation action is taken by the Administration Team.
7. Educational Content
7.1 Purpose of Courses
All courses published on Atomo Schola are intended solely for educational and informational purposes. Courses are created to promote learning and should not be interpreted as professional, legal, medical, financial, or other specialized advice unless explicitly stated by a qualified professional.
7.2 Accuracy Expectations
Creators and Editors are expected to make reasonable efforts to ensure that course content is accurate, current, and supported by reliable sources. Although Atomo Schola strives to maintain high educational standards, we do not guarantee that all information published on the platform is complete, current, or free from errors. Users are encouraged to consult additional reliable sources when appropriate.
7.3 Sources and Citations
Courses must clearly identify the sources used in their preparation whenever external information is referenced. Sources should be provided at the end of each course whenever reasonably possible and should include sufficient information, such as website links, publications, or other references, to allow users to verify the information. Creators are responsible for ensuring that all referenced materials are properly licensed or otherwise lawfully used.
7.4 Course Updates
To maintain the quality and accuracy of educational content, Atomo Schola reserves the right to review, edit, reorganize, update, or remove any course at any time. Such actions may be taken to correct inaccuracies, improve educational quality, comply with applicable laws, address copyright concerns, or otherwise support the operation of the platform.
7.5 Attribution
Atomo Schola automatically attributes every course to its original Creator. Where a course is modified by one or more Editors, the original Creator will continue to receive attribution for the course while the platform maintains a record of subsequent editorial contributions where applicable. Attribution does not limit the rights granted to Atomo Schola under these Terms regarding the hosting, editing, distribution, or continued publication of educational content.
8. AI-Generated Content
8.1 General Policy
Atomo Schola recognizes that artificial intelligence ("AI") can be a useful tool when used responsibly. To preserve the quality and reliability of educational content, the use of AI is subject to the requirements set out in this section. Creators and Editors remain fully responsible for all content they publish, regardless of whether AI tools were used during its creation.
8.2 AI-Generated Images
AI-generated images may be included in courses, provided that:
- Their use is clearly disclosed within the course.
- They do not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others.
- They accurately represent the educational topic being discussed.
- They do not intentionally mislead users.
The Administration Team may require the removal or replacement of AI-generated images that do not comply with these Terms.
8.3 AI-Generated Text
AI-generated text may not be published as part of any course or educational material on Atomo Schola. Creators and Editors are expected to produce original educational content. The use of AI to generate substantial portions of course text, explanations, summaries, or instructional material is prohibited. The Administration Team reserves the right to remove or require revisions to content reasonably believed to consist primarily of AI-generated text.
8.4 Disclosure Requirements
Where AI-generated images are used, the Creator or Editor must clearly indicate that such images were generated using artificial intelligence. Failure to provide the required disclosure may result in the content being edited, removed, or otherwise moderated until it complies with these Terms. Repeated or intentional violations of this policy may result in moderation actions, including the removal of Creator or Editor privileges or other enforcement measures deemed appropriate by the Administration Team.
9. User Content & Intellectual Property
9.1 Ownership of Submitted Content
Except where otherwise provided by law or these Terms, Creators and Editors retain ownership of the intellectual property rights they hold in content they create. By submitting content to Atomo Schola, the submitting user grants Atomo Schola the rights described in Section 9.2.

- Host and store the content.
- Display and distribute the content through the platform.
- Edit, update, translate, adapt, and improve the content.

- Continue using and displaying the content even if the submitting user's account is suspended, removed, or otherwise inactive.
This license exists solely for the operation, maintenance, improvement, and educational purposes of Atomo Schola.
9.3 Redistribution Restrictions
Unless expressly authorized by Atomo Schola, the educational content available on the platform may not be copied, redistributed, republished, sold, or otherwise made available outside the platform. Reasonable quotations, citations, and uses permitted by applicable copyright law remain unaffected by this provision. Requests for permission to redistribute content may be submitted using the contact information provided in these Terms.
9.4 Copyright Compliance
Creators and Editors are responsible for ensuring that all materials they upload, including text, images, videos, documents, and other media, are either:
- Their own original work;
- Properly licensed for use; or
- Otherwise used in accordance with applicable copyright laws.
Proper attribution alone does not grant permission to use copyrighted material where permission or a license is otherwise required.
9.5 Copyright Reports
If you believe that content published on Atomo Schola infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, you may contact the Administration Team using the contact information provided in these Terms. Upon receiving a sufficiently detailed report, we may investigate the matter and, where appropriate, remove, restrict access to, or modify the reported content while the issue is reviewed. The Administration Team reserves the right to take any action it considers appropriate to ensure compliance with applicable intellectual property laws.
